遺伝子 Lewis bicongenic (chromosomes 13 and 16)
由来 LEWIS: Lewis from Wistar stock, to Aptekman and Bogden 1954 at F20, to SIlvers 1958 at F31. Subsequently distributed by Silvers.
特性など Development of glomerular crescents, a hallmark of crescentic glomerulonephritis (CRGN) after the induction of nephrotoxic serum in this Lewis-related bicongenic strain, compared to parental Lewis strain which is resistant to CRGN.
繁殖・維持方法 No special needs. Good breeding performance, 6-8 litters, normal diet, water acidification, no supplements, no medications.
遺伝診断法 Microsatellite markers used for genotyping. Chromosome 13: Congenic locus spans between D13Arb15 to D13Rat77 Chromosome 16: Congenic locus spans between D16Rat40 to D16Rat88
